World Naked Gardening Day

Today is officially the 3rd annual World Naked Gardening Day. No-seriously!

It is celebrated in the United States, Canada, Brazil, France, India, New Zealand and Australia. So put on some sunscreen and get out there and celebrate.

I'm going to plant my herb garden now.
I will be staying away from the rose bushes however.

This made me laugh! It's warm here, but not that warm! I'll give it a miss. :)

Um, i don't think so, too cold. But the image amuses me.

I'm all about gardening naked but it just doesn't go down here in the Bible Belt. That kind of conduct is considered "disorderly" around here unless you happen to have a good fence... then anything goes! If I had my own place, I'd water my herbs and then shoot some pucks. That would be fun!

You are really askin' for it you know!
All I can think is how nasty filthy dirty you're going to get out there.

Are you going to be doin' any hoe'in?

I better stop right there.
i could get pretty tacky.

Dave- Reason # 1 I never wanted to move to the bible belt...well, maybe not #1, but close.
Don't worry Steve- The only hoe I'll be using is the garden hoes (hose)- you know, for all that filthy dirt.

Akelamalu and Meno-
Woo-hee! You're right, it is a tad chilly out there. I had to run in and grab a wool scarf for my neck.

Too funny! And we'll see all those pics posted?!! Beauty sunny day but a bit gusty. UV is high...ouch on those winter white parts!

Are you going all the way naked? Careful with the prying eyes. :)Well then, good luck with your gardening. And that's a good idea...keep away from thorny plants. :)

Oh oh ... I don't have a yard. Just a small terrace that's visible to all.

D'oh! I missed it...it's dark now. It'd be the safest time to get out there and do it, so I won't have to worry with sunscreen. The only thing is we've got mosquitos pretty bad. It'd be open season for them, huh?

GEWELS said...

Whew!!!
Not so sure I can handle the cockscomb right now, Steve.

Come out, come out wherever you are.
