OH THOSE BEAUTIFUL CHILDHOOD DAYS

Today's theme is CHILDHOOD

So, here, I have chosen to shamelessly post photos of my children's childhood. We had the best time when they were little. All we did, me included, is play-day and night. They both had amazing imaginations. And me, being the doting Italian mother, indulged their every whim.

I can proudly say that they are still very goofy and make me laugh every day.

And, finally, a shot of me as a child. Here I am with my mother and younger sister on one of our annual summer trips to Italy. Don't I look like I'm having fun? I'm the one on the right, by the way.

I must take issue with the term 'a mere child,' for it has been my invariable experience that the company of a mere child is infinitely preferable to that of a mere adult.
Fran Lebowitz (1950 - )

P.S. don't know what is up with my photos posting so small- I am not happy about that. Maybe if I change the template?

LOL! Adorable! Looks like your kids and my kids shared similar childhoods! I was very doting also! They are only kids for such a SHORT time! Best to enjoy them while we can!

Wonderful pictures, and I do love the one of you with your mother and sister.

Your pictures being small, is it perhaps when you upload them with Blogger you have the Small option chosen? It took me a while to notice that...

Welcome to the Photo Hunt.

Thank you so much for visiting me:-) The car behind me in my picture was a pinkish bronze colour from what I can remember! Love the pictures you posted...nice to see children playing outside instead of in front of the tv!! Kids should be allowed to be kids and have FUN:-) xo

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments. Yup, those boys did have fun. And we still do, that's what's important- and they're not parasites on society- that, too, is important.
Steve- They are only 15 months apart- they were (and still are to an extent) the best of friends. As good as two completely different personalities can be, I suppose.
They did get along well-until they started smacking each other in the face with their little plastic baseball bats. Then Mama had to step in and wield her iron fist (whatever!).
A.- thank you, thank you. I had the MEDIUM option chosen when uploading my photos. I can be such a ditz sometimes (shut-up you all).

Lovely pictures. Wansn't it great to go back to our childhoods on this weeks theme. I've been going down memory lane just by looking at everyones posts.

~~~~~~~~~~
You asked how do I get my pictures full size.
First your blog must have enough space for big pictures which yours doesn't. (The layout you have was my firtst layout and I love it)
Then I upload them to photobucket and host them there. When uploading, I don't use the photo upload icon from blogger, instead I copy paste the code from photobucket and the picture will post on whatever size you store it.
On my JoeCoolsblog I upload them with the blogger icon because I can't go big pictures on that one.
