WHEN YOU DRINK THE WATER REMEMBER THE SPRING

Today's theme is Water.
My favorite element. Cool, refreshing, life-giving water.

These are a few shots of a waterfall that I stumbled upon on my last trip to Costa Rica. How nice to have such a beautiful display practically in one's backyard.

Talk not of wasted affection, affection never was wasted,
If it enrich not the heart of another, its waters returning
Back to their springs, like the rain shall fill them full of refreshment;
That which the fountain sends forth returns again to the fountain.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882)

What a beautiful sight to just stumble into! I can just imagine how refreshing it must be to stand under those falls on a warm Costa Rican day! Thanks for dropping by and happy hunting :)

Beautiful! I wanna go there!

BTW- If you saw the rest of the pics (the blurry, out of frame, out of focus, waste of space) you'd understand what I mean... The two I posted were the only ones even worthy of doing anything with at all. I often take 300 - 400 pictures and only get 6 or so usable ones...

They are really lovely photo's/falls, I have to admit I get a little transfixed by rapid moving water like this.

Yes, this would be amazing to have in or near your back yard. It would be especially nice if a fog would roll in but I'm not sure if conditions for fog present themselves down there.

Gewels - girlfriend

Why indeed your photos are amazingly lovely - stunning like you.....

It was your quote that grabbed my attention.....our tears and sorrows - flowing back into their 'collective' part - to be recycled.....maybe washed clean again - who knows.....a world that cries.....have you ever wondered what god hears when he turns to listen to earth? are we on big moan? one large cry? billions of tears dropping?
