For RDG- Icicles and Roses

Red Dirt Girl today posted about the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale "The Snow Queen". One of my all-time favorite fairytales.

I have posted a new photo of my Snow Queen themed fairy tale table from "An Enchanted Evening" fundraiser which I co-chaired back in October.

And for those of you lamenting that it didn't feel quite Christmasy yet- due to lack of weather-maybe the following shots will help put you in the spirit.
This is how my walk looked the other morning. Bundle up...

I'm not ready for cold weather. I'll spend the next 3 months wanting Spring to arrive. Although I must admit the winter shots are beautiful.

What a lovely series of snowy photos ... and although I'm shivering as I look at them now, I've decided it's plenty warm here in Southern California for a walk with Molly as soon as it gets light. Thanks for putting our "chilly" weather into perspective. :)
Hugs and blessings,

Beautiful day for a snowball fight if you ask me. Say, I sent a greeting to what I thought might be your email address. If not, someone else with a similar name is wondering who I am and why I sent them a greeting with five unfamiliar faces on it, but I think I did actually send it to you. Hope you enjoy it!

So pretty! I love winter shots! I'm finally starting to think it's getting closer to Christmas, it's hard with no tree or lights though, I go home today so I should be feeling the spirit soon!!

and those photos?? worthy of the snow queen herself !! I just love the idea that we both choose her as our favorite fairy tale ... sigh. an amazing universe.

happy holidays, girlfriend!

Beauty! Pretty close to our look, especially now that some has melted. I LOVE the first shot with the berrues! This you could blow up and frame and/or use as a Christmas card!
