Mendenhall Glacier- Juneau, Alaska
“Glaciers are delicate and individual things, like humans. Instability is built into them.”
Will Harrison

When is the next departure?
I simply must see this before it all melts away!
I really don't like snow and ice but those are absolutely beautiful!
COOLEST PICTURES I'VE EVER SEEN!
Dave- When do you want to go?
Barbara- Hopefully they won't ALL melt away in our lifetime. If so, we have bigger problems.
Akela- That's why one goes to Alaska in the summertime. Snow is usually gone by August, although not this year. And, you can be on a cozy ship with a heated hot tub as you watch the glaciers slide by.
Steve- Only you! HAHA- and yes I DID take every single one of them
