SHOWERS AND FLOWERS IN GEWELS' GARDEN

My pansies love this gray, cold and dreary weather....

...But my peonies don't. One bloom has managed to survive the storms.

My trusty and heady scented lilac

And how happy was I when I spotted my Scotch broom blooming. The scent is heaven!

Observe this dew-drenched rose of Tyrian gardens
A rose today. But you will ask in vain
Tomorrow what it is; and yesterday
It was the dust, the sunshine, and the rains.

I have a huge lilac bush in my garden and the smell is just amazing! Your peonies are opened already? I have buds on mine but I doubt they will be open anytime soon.

You are so good with plants! You will be pleased to know the orchid you and Bulletholes gave me is still blooming. I am giving it orchid food every week, but I'm not sure what to do other than wait when the last blooms drop off. Do you know?

How do you do it? The flowers, the tables, the poetry? Seems like I can't keep up with the vacuuming. But I always enjoy popping in here for a bit of beauty and inspiration.
Thanks for that.
