RED MAPLE

MAPLES

Leaves of fiery scarlet
reflect a crisp sun

rustle in a healthy mass
of autumn laughter

house an anarchy of crows
that screech at winters approach

until bare branches
balance snow

on slender
outstretched arms

You really captured the color so perfectly. Some trees really are prettier than others.

Beauty! I really miss the leaves now that they are all gone. We have that brilliant colour for such a brief time.
