Parts of Britain totally under water, but luckily I live on a hill, so don't need to worry about the flooding.

You have such a wonderful garden - puts my wasteland/ wilderness to shame. I take pride in that my garden is a wonderful habitat for wild animals and insects though... probably the worst cultivated bit of land for miles around! :-S

I've tried to take pics of bees... they just won't bow for the camera - you're a genius to get such good ones!Annelisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18404801255562567591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38430247.post-24899282813117516562007-07-26T11:10:00.000-05:002007-07-26T11:10:00.000-05:00LAINIE!!! Just lucky with the poink and blue hydrangea- maybe the plant is a bit indecisive- like their caretaker. I'll try to post some more photos of the house soon- I also love the cedar and wood everywhere- feels like a cabin in the woods in the middle of this homogenous town.
RDG- There are TONS of weeds in my back garden (like my life, too, at times)- that's why you see more closeups than broad views- lol. I am just starting to become acquainted with Rumi- lovely, no?
Akela- Kayla is a VERY thorough tour guide. Your garden inspires me, you know?
Steve- you can bustle in the hedgrow anytime- just as long as you're pulling weeds at the same time.
Barbara- No serious gardening- otherwise it's too much like work. Take up dabbling in the garden...much less stressful that way.
Dave- next time you gotta bring along the SPF 40. Or, better yet, you can have a snooze in my hammock- it's under two huge trees next to that stone planter in the first photo. Very breezy, shady and restful.
Goatman!! Nice to hear from you- yes, timeles poetry- I guess human feelings and emotion have not changes throughout history too much.
NSLW- Kayla is the older, leggier, more elegant counterpart to her short, stocky- but with such a pretty face- little sister.
RDG- Gewel's ugly stepmother (the boss) is making her sweep the cinders from the fireplace. Once I shove her in the oven I'll come out to play.

Thanks for visitng ALL!!!!!GEWELShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15667187693235282985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38430247.post-43651721184490021392007-07-26T09:56:00.000-05:002007-07-26T09:56:00.000-05:00knock, knock, knock .....ummm...... can gewels com...knock, knock, knock .....

ummm...... can gewels come out and play ?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38430247.post-48882538524516432192007-07-25T13:50:00.000-05:002007-07-25T13:50:00.000-05:00Kayla is a beauty!!
